Does a spray tan protect me from the sun?
No. A spray tan does not provide protection from the sun or harmful UV rays. Although your skin will appear beautifully bronzed, you should still wear sunscreen and follow recommended sun protection practices whenever spending time outdoors.
How often can I get a spray tan?
Most clients can enjoy a professional spray tan about once every seven days, depending on how their current tan has faded and their desired look. Before a new appointment, we recommend gently exfoliating away any remaining color to ensure the smoothest, most even application. Multiple applications on the same day are not recommended.

Can I shave after a spray tan?
Yes. We recommend using a clean, sharp razor together with a gentle moisturizing shaving product. Avoid harsh soaps, exfoliating scrubs, hair-removal creams, alcohol-based toners, and aggressive skincare products, as these can cause your tan to fade more quickly. Gentle shaving and proper moisturizing will help maintain your glow.
How long is each appointment?
Each personalized tanning session lasts roughly 20 to 30 minutes.

When is the best time for a wedding tan?
We suggest a trial tan several weeks prior to your event. For your wedding day, booking two days before is ideal. This allows the bronze to settle into a soft, romantic glow that looks exquisite in photographs and feels perfectly natural throughout your special celebration.
When should I book for a vacation?
Can I work out after a session?
We recommend scheduling your spray tan one to two days before your trip so your glow is fully developed and looking its best when your vacation begins. If you choose a Classic Rinse, your first shower is recommended 8–12 hours after your appointment. If you choose a Rapid Rinse, your first shower is recommended 4–6 hours after your appointment. If you're unsure which rinse option best fits your travel schedule, your Honeyburst Glow tanning artist will be happy to help you choose the best option.

Will the tan transfer to sheets?
Is the color customized for me?
Some cosmetic bronzer may transfer before your first shower. We recommend wearing loose loungewear and using dark linens on night one. Our high-quality formulas are water-soluble and usually wash out of most fabrics with ease during a standard wash.
